Invisible Learning

EXplore, eXploit and eXport innovative knowledge.

Participants will share great ideas about redesigning education to foster sustainable innovation and connect with the people making these changes happen. Through the development of 1) a collaborative, printed book; 2) an e-book; and 3) a repository of innovative ideas at www.invisiblelearning.com, we seek to:

• Share experiences and innovative perspectives, focused on rethinking strategies and innovative approaches to learn and unlearn continuously
• Promote critical thinking of the role of formal, informal and non-formal education at all educational levels.
• Contribute to the creation of a sustainable (and continuous) process of learning, innovating and designing new cultures for the global society.

This project aims to facilitate the creation of a globally distributed community of thinkers interested on the creation of new futures for the education. Sustainable innovation, invisible learning (informal learning and non-formal learning) and the development of 21^st century skills are some of the core issues that will be analyzed and addressed in this project.

About the Book Coordinators:

Cristóbal Cobo, PhD, is a professor and researcher at Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences in Mexico (FLACSO-Mexico). During 2009 he was visiting researcher at the Centre on Skills, Knowledge and Organisational Performance, the University of Oxford, where he coordinated research on e-competencies. He is co-author of e-book ‘Planet Web 2.0, fast food media or collective intelligence‘ (152,000 downloads) and author of the blog e-rgonomic, which analyzes current trends in innovation, new technologies and learning.

John Moravec, PhD, is an educational futurist in the Department of Organizational Leadership, Policy and Development and faculty member in the Innovation Studies and Master of Liberal Studies graduate programs at the University of Minnesota. He is the co-founder of the Horizon Forum, a roundtable on the future of education at all levels; and is the
editor of Education Futures (ISSN 1940-0934, http://www.educationfutures.com).

Los participantes compartirán ideas valiosas acerca de rediseñar la educación para promover innovación sustentable y conectarla con personas que están logrando que estos cambios ocurran. Mediante el desarrollo de 1) un el libro colaborativo impreso , 2) un libro electrónico, y 3) un repositorio de ideas innovadoras en www.aprendizajeinvisible.com, buscamos:

• Compartir experiencias y perspectivas innovadoras, orientadas a repensar estrategias y enfoques innovadores para aprender y desaprender continuamente
• Promover el pensamiento crítico frente al papel de
  la educación formal, informal y no formal en todos los
  niveles educativos.
• Contribuir a la creación de un proceso de aprendizaje sostenible (y continuo) , innovando y diseñando nuevas culturas para una sociedad global.

Este proyecto tiene como objetivo facilitar la creación de una comunidad distribuida a nivel mundial de pensadores interesados en la creación de un nuevo futuro para la educación. Innovación sostenible, aprendizaje invisible (aprendizaje informal y no formal) y el desarrollo de habilidades del siglo 21 son algunos de los temas centrales que serán analizados en este proyecto.

del libro:

Cristóbal Cobo, PhD, es profesor e investigador
en la Facultad Latinoamericana de Ciencias Sociales en México (FLACSO-México). En 2009, fue investigador visitante en el Centro de investigación Skills, Knowledge and Organisational Performance de la Universidad de Oxford, donde coordinó un estudio sobre e-competencies. Es co-autor del e-libro ‘Planeta Web 2.0, inteligencia colectiva o medios fast food‘ (152.000 descargas) y es autor del blog e-rgonomic, que analiza tendencias actuales de innovación, nuevas tecnologías y el aprendizaje.
